If you would like to get a Cavy, they are a big responsibility! Also if you get two there will be a problem. If you get a male and a male they will usually fight. And one can KILL the other! If you get a female and a male they will breed,and you don't want that. Unless you know alot about Cavies you shouldn't put them together. Also if you will dedicate your time and money then I suppose you can do it. If you don't have the MONEY, TIME, OR SUPPORT. Then DONT'T continue to get a Cavy.

Now here are some very impotant tips first Cavies are very very very social animals. They are not an animal you get and then forget.
